Session not completed

A planned session was not marked complete

A planned session is ticked off when a synced or logged workout matches it on all of the following:

  1. Same day and same activity type.
  2. Start time within 2 hours of the planned time.
  3. Duration within 50 percent of the planned duration.

A 40-minute run against a planned 45-minute run completes it. A 20-minute run against the same plan does not, and the session stays on the calendar. If several sessions could match, the closest one is chosen.

Why it did not match

  • The type differs. The watch recorded a sport VegaLoop maps to Other, or you logged a treadmill session as Walking against a planned Run. Check the workout’s type on its detail page.
  • The time is far off. A session planned for 7 am and done at 6 pm is outside the 2 hour window. Put planned sessions at roughly the time you train.
  • It was much shorter or longer. Half the plan or less, or double or more, does not match.
  • It landed on another day. Late-evening sessions can file on the next day if your timezone is wrong; see Entries show on the wrong day.
  • The workout has not arrived yet. See Workouts missing after connecting a device.

Complete it by hand

Open the planned session on the calendar. Mark Complete ticks it off as planned. Log with Details opens the full form pre-filled from the plan so you can record what you actually did; the session is marked complete and the workout logged in one step. If the workout already exists, open it and link it to the session from its detail page, or log it with From Plan set to that session.

It says Not completed or Missed

Not completed means the day passed without a match. Missed means VegaLoop has noted it as missed; on Plus a suggestion card may offer to move it. Neither affects your streak or achievements. See Let a missed session go.
