Getting started

VegaLoop runs in your browser at app.vegaloop.com. There is no app to install; the same account works on a laptop, a tablet, and a phone browser. The seven articles in this section take a new account from sign-up to a normal routine. They are written to be read in order, and each one links to the next.

Before you log anything

The movement question in the setup wizard, “How much do you move outside workouts?”, sets the baseline for your calorie target. Training is counted separately as you log it, so answer for the rest of your day.

A new account is on UTC until the wizard or Settings sets a timezone. On UTC, a meal eaten in the evening in the Americas or Asia is filed on the next day. If you skipped the wizard, open Settings, Display, and select Use device timezone.

Readiness needs about a week of your own workouts before it shows a level. The morning check-in works from the first day and is free on every plan.
